MOVED READINGS
We meet once a month and perform a moved reading in an informal manner. It gives the ensemble a chance to flex their acting muscles and practise their technique when connecting with characters. We aim to capture the character's essence, journey and story rather than their gender. The girls can do as much or little preparation as they want. They can learn a scene, use an accent, come in costume, do text analysis or simply turn up on the day and cold read. GAG are all working actors in the ensemble and usually juggling several scripts, characters and shows at once… but then there are times when they haven’t had a casting or audition and need to sink their teeth into something… and that is what the moved readings are for.
